I live in beautiful Victoria, B.C., Canada. Please enjoy exploring and reading!
Artist- I am passionate about my artwork and creativity! I love vibrant, layered colour, organic forms and rich, painted texture. My paintings are a combination of portrait, animals and nature - many of transformation, symbolism, dreamlike, and based on my personal mythology. I also delight in simple line drawings of sweet little characters, painted in watercolor and collage works.
Instructor - I have expanded my creativity to instruct other artists, young and mature alike, in discovering their abilities to create what they love. Making art is a process of really seeing what we are observing - that is something we can train ourselves to do. Other aspects of making art is finding our unique language to express what is not articulated by language alone. This process bubbles up from our inner selves, using metaphors and symbols that speak volumes.
