Just a little taste of the bit of chaos surrounding me at my desk in my studio (otherwise known as the "little bedroom").
Venetian mask and lion, a mini chest of drawers, a local artist fairy and a found doll that looks like an Asian fairy.
Italy calendar, wooden model columns, Venetian bottles, cards of Italian frescoe paintings, and some ceramic heads from another Italian town.
Asian hand cut paper art, aquarium columns, miniature wooden Thai spirit abode (?).
Card in the background is of the 12 Dancing Princesses, miniature theatre ornament, shells, mechanical singing bird.
Cut outs from magazines of marble busts, my own ceramic containers symbolizing water, earth and buried artifact, wooden flotsam from the beach.
Ferrero Rocher acrylic boxes filled with natural bits and pieces of leaves, flowers, twigs, insects, etc.
You might recognize this Mattel toy from the 70's - Kozmic Kiddles, on top of a display box with more natural bits and pieces.
And lastly, another Kiddles - this one a rose perfume Kiddle, and of course Topo Gigio ( though, yes, I did paint his former blue striped Lazio soccer jersey, with red nailpolish!!!) on top of a box displaying lichen, etc.
